About Robin Currie

Robin Currie grew up in downstate Illinois before there was television. Seeking something more rural, she earned a Bachelors of Elementary Education from Western Illinois University. Still corn enamored, she spent quality time in Iowa and attained an MLS at The University of Iowa. Concluding the outback phase of life at last, Robin settled in Chicago where she edited preschool curriculum for David C Cook before working as Youth Services department head at Palatine Public Library. Amazed in midlife to be called to ordained ministry she attended seminary at LSTC for both M Div and D Min degrees. She served as Pastor at Grace Lutheran Church in Glen Ellyn until retiring. Now Robin does only what she loves: Early Childhood Librarian for Glen Ellyn Public Library and Pastor Associate for St Mark's Episcopal Church. She has also traveled since retirement doing volunteer work in China, South Africa, and India. Family includes 4 grown children and 5 grandchildren. And she writes stories to read and read again!
